CCA HALTER SHOW 2023 
at the
Cornwall Alpaca Show
 

Thanks to everyone who came to the show!

We had 12 farms exhibiting 65 alpacas in the Halter Show with excellent judging and oral reasoning from Julia Corrigan-Stuart.  Congratulations to everyone who entered and to the Supreme winners:  Little Acorn for Huacaya and Dark Sky Alpacas for Suri.

The Junior Handler competition was sponsored by Alpacas of Cornwall and our 3 entrants put on a wonderful show!

Demonstrations on alpaca handling, agiity and husbandry were provided by Kate from Mullacott Alpacas and had a great audience throughout the day.

​

The spinners and weavers and all the stall holders demonstrated how beautiful and versatile alpaca fleece is and the kids had a wonderful time at the Alpaca Fleece Art table using real fleece to create their own alpaca masterpieces - this activity was kindly sponsored by Mullacott Alpacas.

​

Finally the Alpaca Photo Booth was great fun!  Run by photograhy students from Callywith College, members of the public were transported all over the world, and even to the moon, along with their alpaca and we hope they are now instagram sensations!
